I am new to Office for Mac 2008 having moved up from Windows 2003!

I have created my new template with all the slide layouts that I need.
When I copy and slide from a different presentation and I use destination
theme it generates a new slide layout in the 'masters'. I do not want it to
do this.

If I say keep source formatting it creates the new slide layout but at least
under a different tab. I can then apply the slide layout from my 'masters'.
The problem is my users will add lots of slides from other presentations and
I do not want all these dditional layouts in my masters or additional layout
tabs. I know the only way to delete is to go to master view but i do not want
my users to be going into masters!

Any help appreciated.
